Senior Functional Consultant (JD Edwards) – M/K

For our client, who is building a new Shared Service Center supporting JD Edwards across multiple European entities, we are looking for Senior Functional Consultant (JD Edwards). You will join an international environment and play a key role in supporting and evolving a global JD Edwards core model.

• Proven experience as a Senior JD Edwards Functional Consultant
• Strong expertise in one of the functional areas: Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
• Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into system solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Optional:

• Exposure to JD Edwards technical concepts (e.g., SQL, integrations, batch processing)
• Experience working with core models and international rollouts
• Knowledge of European (especially CEE) regulatory environment

• Provide functional (2nd line) support for JD Edwards modules
• Act as a subject matter expert within your functional domain
• Analyse business requirements and configure or propose system enhancements
• Ensure alignment with the global core model and local requirements
• Collaborate closely with key business users, other JD Edwards functional consultants, external system integrator, project and rollout teams
• Prepare, execute, and validate functional tests
• Create and maintain functional documentation (specifications, user guides, test scenarios)

Finance:

• General Ledger (GL), AP, AR, Fixed Assets
• Financial reporting and closing processes
• Strong understanding of accounting and statutory requirements

Manufacturing:

• MRP, Shop Floor Management, Product Data Management
• Manufacturing accounting and production processes
• Strong knowledge of shop-floor operations

Supply Chain:

• Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, Logistics
• Distribution processes and operational supply chain flows
