Senior Python Backend Engineer

• 6+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong commercial experience with Python.
• Practical knowledge of FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, JMS or similar).
• Solid knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and Docker.
• Experience working with Git and distributed teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience acting as a technical lead or mentoring other engineers.
• Participation in architectural decision-making at system level.
• Experience leading small backend initiatives or coordinating technical tasks.

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Python.
• Build and maintain microservices and event-driven systems.
• Contribute to architecture design and technical decisions.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and testing practices.
• Implement API security and data protection mechanisms.
• Work with GCP services and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Create unit tests and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
