Cloud Solutions Engineer Mid or Senior

Ericsson is number one in 5G Core Network area in the world. The unit is part of Packet Core organization focusing on development and integration of 5G Core services based on Cloud Native technologies. The team works in an Agile environment with continuous improvement, innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. The organization is growing with potential for gaining new skills and responsibilities.

• At least 3-4 years’ experience in development and integration of cloud-native based solutions
• Experience working with Linux environment
• Experience in cloud technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
• Good programming skills in C and Golang
• Good scripting skills in bash and Python
• Knowledge or strong willingness to learn functional language Erlang
• Good understanding of IP networking concepts and packet analysis (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wireshark)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Prometheus
• Understanding of CI/CD flow and test automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High self-motivation and ability to coach and mentor others
• At least B2 level in English, written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of O&M functionalities
• Knowledge of 5G mobile network architecture (interfaces, protocols, functions)

• Develop and integrate new solutions in cloud-native PCC (Packet Core Controller) and PCG (Packet Core Gateway) products
• Verify implemented functionalities on feature and system level
• Analyze, troubleshoot and provide resolutions to faults
• Prepare technical documentation, both internal and for customer use
• Continuously work on improving products and processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains, focusing on AI tools utilization
• Collaborate in an Agile cross-functional team
• Work in a multi-cultural and international environment
