The Simulation Services (SIMS) unit is an organization within Engineering Services and Experience (ESE) in Engineering Unit RAN Software & Compute Platforms (RCE). SIMS provides simulators to product development within Business Area Networks, used in product verification instead of real mobile phones and core networks. The team in Kraków will develop a powerful UE Simulator for 6G and later be the core team for the 6G UE simulator development.
Wymagania
- MSc or BSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IT
- Knowledge of embedded programming, ideally within the telecom sector
- Good software engineering skills with ability to write high-quality code in C++ and Python
- Knowledge in DPDK
- Proficiency in L2 Protocols such as Medium Access Control (MAC), Logical Link Control (LLC), and Radio Link Control (RLC)
- Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English

- Be part of an agile team that contributes to Layer 2 development of a UE Simulator
