Principal Engineer Field – Air Defense Systems – IBCS (M/K)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years with bachelor’s degree; GED equivalent and 8 years’ experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to speak English fluently
• Experience in IPV6 (Internet Protocol Version 6)
• Experience with Linux Red Hat and network monitoring software
• Must have or be able to obtain Security+ and Linux+ certification within 3 months of hire date
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; must be able to deploy for short-term and/or long-term assignments
• Must possess an active Polish/NATO Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire date
• Must be able to work in close spaces
• Must have valid drivers’ license
• Must have a solid software background
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have no criminal record

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Basic networking knowledge
• Basic mechanical skills
• Basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements according to customer specifications
• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solutions, and recommends actions
• Reviews field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment
• Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers
• Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy
• Analyzes technical data related to spares and support equipment provisioning
• Works under direct supervision of US personnel on Polish military bases
• Performs hands-on sustainment tasks on equipment in indoor and outdoor environments

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain Polish/NATO Secret Security Clearance within 6 months
