Technical Program Manager, Pixel Core Platform Software

• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an engineering or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in mobile devices, Hardware (HW)/Software (SW)/embedded software, and Android software development.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Preferred: Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams and help them deliver against a backlog.
• Preferred: Ability to navigate ambiguity by establishing structure, organizing teams, and implementing scalable processes.
• Preferred: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Manage complex and large scale Software (SW) projects, track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.
• Remove obstacles to drive momentum, progress, and results; identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and support teams balancing competing priorities.
• Understand technical implementation and propose technical alternatives when necessary; ask clarifying questions and develop broad domain and technical knowledge.
• Review key program metrics, monitor potential deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals; build, maintain, and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
