Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Conduit

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The Cloud Conduit team in Warsaw focuses on developing and deploying secure, efficient, and reliable networking solutions critical to Google Cloud's infrastructure, supporting AI-driven and general-purpose traffic. Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade solutions to customers in over 200 countries and territories, enabling digital transformation and sustainable development.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.

• Work across organizational boundaries and functional teams to deliver impactful products and enhance technical knowledge.
• Focus on developing networking services with a strong emphasis on long-term maintainability and planet-scale reliability.
• Contribute to major Google products by implementing, testing, and deploying high-quality code.
• Partner closely with domain experts, Tech Leads, and Product Managers to translate organizational needs into actionable technical deliverables.
