UX Designer, Cloud

Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions leveraging cutting-edge technology to help organizations digitally transform their business and industry. The role focuses on designing intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for complex cloud products used globally.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.
• Experience designing technical, enterprise applications.
• Experience prototyping designs using tools such as Figma or Canva.
• Portfolio or work samples included in resume.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years experience working in a cross-functional organization.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Ability to clearly communicate abstract design concepts.
• Excellent visual design skills and knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Researchers, PMs, Engineers) to deliver user-centered design solutions for complex Cloud technologies and compute infrastructure.
• Translate complex concepts into storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to guide agile development.
• Use modern AI-assisted design tools to accelerate ideation and rapid prototyping.
• Advocate for users by iterating designs based on feedback and data insights to meet business objectives and enterprise use cases.
• Pitch concepts and manage stakeholder expectations to influence the evolution of the cloud product design system.
