Cloud Network Engineer (m/f/n)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP Cloud Networking
• Solid networking knowledge (minimum CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent)
• Experience with automation and GitOps practices
• Practical knowledge of network security implementations (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Good knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Availability for on-call rotations
• English proficiency (min. B2, written and spoken)
• Category B driving license

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring, observability and alerting in network environments
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI

Network architecture & design:

• Design, evolve and maintain cloud network architectures in Google Cloud Platform (VPC, NCC, Cloud Router, routing, load balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS).
• Build and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions (Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, Cloud VPN).
• Design scalable, resilient and highly available LAN/WAN topologies.
• Contribute to Software Defined Networking initiatives, including policy-based network automation (Cisco ACI).

Network implementation & automation:

• Plan and configure GCP networking environments.
• Automate cloud network provisioning using Terraform, IaC, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement network security policies, segmentation and access control using FortiGate and Palo Alto NGFW.
• Configure and manage Cisco routers (ISR/ASR) and switches (Catalyst, Nexus) across access, distribution and core layers.
• Deploy VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and GRE tunnels.

Operations & optimization:

• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents across Data Center and GCP environments.
• Analyze and improve network performance.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams, providing expert guidance on network solutions.
