Senior Technical Program Manager, Private Compute

Google's Platforms and Devices team develops computing software platforms and first-party devices integrating AI, software, and hardware to create innovative user experiences globally.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management leading cross-functional software or infrastructure programs.
• Experience delivering cloud, infrastructure, or distributed systems to production.
• Experience working directly with infrastructure or reliability teams such as SRE, platform, DevOps, data center, or backend engineering.
• Experience managing cross-functional, multi-team programs with multiple dependencies.

Nice to have:

• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in privacy, security, or trusted/confidential computing domains.
• Experience leading production readiness, release engineering, or reliability initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional, international project teams across different time zones.
• Experience in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering.

• Lead end-to-end technical program management of complex, multi-functional programs from planning to delivery and reporting.
• Drive program-level meetings with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-product partners to manage outcomes and secure decisions.
• Identify and mitigate technical and production risks to ensure successful delivery and system reliability.
• Conduct technical due diligence to understand engineering scope, define milestones, anticipate resource needs, and drive project delivery.
• Collaborate across Private Compute teams to align dependencies, coordinate execution plans, and implement automation and simplification opportunities.
