Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Center (English)

Google's Facilities Management team oversees daily operations of office spaces, focusing on creating collaborative and efficient environments. The Third-Party Data Center Operations team provides technical due diligence for site selection, sustains and improves vendor-operated data centers, and mitigates risks for critical work. The AI and Infrastructure team delivers AI and infrastructure at scale, supporting Google's global services and innovations in hyperscale computing.

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in critical facility operation management.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to support stakeholder relationships.
• Experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure.
• Experience with initiating and executing initiatives in a global environment.
• Experience with operations and people management.
• Ability to forecast resource requirements in a data-motivated method.
• Ability to perform operational assessment and risk analysis of third-party sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Own third-party data centers operation within an area/region with full accountability for this area.
• Support site selection process through operational and technical knowledge.
• Perform operational assessment and risk analysis of third-party data centers sites.
• Keep main stakeholders informed about current work and discuss decisions and directions with them.
• Contribute to focus area strategy and setting strategy for smaller local groups.
