Data Catalog Consultant - Customer Value and Digital Engagement Department

T-Mobile Polska is undergoing a strategic data transformation project, migrating analytics from on-premise to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The project involves building data architecture and models focused on increasing business value and improving customer experience (CX). The team works with technologies such as GCP, Spark, Python, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Terraform, and Looker, integrating diverse high-volume data sources and implementing data governance, lineage, quality, security, CI/CD, and monitoring to support AI/LLM solutions.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in developing and maintaining a corporate Data Catalog
• Practical experience with at least one Data Catalog management tool (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Informatica)
• Experience in data analysis and modeling
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
• Experience with Big Data technologies and/or Data Warehouses is a plus
• Practical experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
• Experience working in agile methodologies is a plus
• High interpersonal and communication skills
• English proficiency sufficient for communication in an international environment

• Organize, manage, and maintain the Data Catalog, including data dictionaries, KPIs, metadata, and responsible persons
• Define the structure of the Data Catalog, metadata models, relationships between object types, and data management processes
• Support users by assisting in data search and utilization, providing consultations, training, and workshops
• Ensure data quality in the Data Catalog by creating processes and standards
• Analyze new requirements and implement solutions based on Data Catalog usage within the organization
• Participate in data development projects
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
