Senior Software Engineer, Flume ML

Google Cloud develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users globally. The team in Warsaw manages a planet-scale data processing infrastructure product that supports foundational AI/ML features for Alphabet services like YouTube and Search, as well as next-generation AI initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with coding and software design.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role (preferred).
• Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning (ML) architectures (preferred).
• Experience with data structures and algorithms (preferred).

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
• Address technical issues that require significant expertise or span multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Work with mission critical customers on their schedulability issues.
• Analyze performance data and design data driven solutions.
• Promote a team environment by mentoring engineers and contributing to organizational success.
