ETL Developer

Verita HR is recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining modern data solutions in the payments sector. The role involves working on innovative international projects impacting global payment standards, including mobile payment solutions. The position is based in an office located in the center of Warsaw.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Database Developer, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing and developing ETL processes.
• Very good knowledge of SQL.
• Practical experience working with Oracle.
• Experience with Big Data tools: Kafka, Hive, Impala, MongoDB, Spark.
• Experience with ETL tools, preferably Oracle Data Integrator.
• Knowledge of data management topics: permissions, security, monitoring, data recovery.
• Ability to optimize and tune database performance and data processing.
• Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Very good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Very good command of English.

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions and ETL processes supporting data processing.
• Create and enhance real-time data processing and data integration solutions from various sources.
• Monitor, optimize, and tune database environment performance.
• Implement changes and develop existing systems according to business and technical requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data quality, system performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with development, analytics, and business teams in designing and implementing new functionalities.
• Analyze user requirements and recommend optimal technological solutions.
• Support users in data management and processing.
• Participate in defining standards, best practices, and development directions for the data environment.
• Analyze and implement new technologies and tools supporting data platform development.

Work on-site in the office located in the center of Warsaw.
