Integration Architect

Stackmine is hiring an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to join a large-scale international programme focused on designing and delivering enterprise-wide integration platforms.

• Proven experience as a Lead or Enterprise Integration Architect.
• Experience acting as the key architect in at least one enterprise-wide integration platform implementation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Application Architect.
• Strong expertise in systems integration at API and data layers.
• Extensive experience with integration platforms such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, ESB solutions, SOA architectures, middleware, databases, application servers, and cloud integration technologies.
• Experience with hybrid integration architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with serverless and container-based platforms.
• Experience working within DevSecOps environments.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to align technical architecture with business objectives.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Platforms (TIBCO, MuleSoft or similar).
• Knowledge of API Management and Integration Patterns.
• Understanding of SOA Architecture.
• Experience with Middleware and Message-Oriented Architectures.
• Knowledge of Cloud Integration Patterns.
• Familiarity with Databases and Application Servers.
• UML Modelling skills.
• Experience with Architecture Modelling Tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or similar).
• DevSecOps Practices knowledge.
• Experience with Containerisation and Serverless Technologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ArchiMate modelling.
• Experience with the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) or similar interinstitutional frameworks.
• Experience applying enterprise architecture styles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or equivalent.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, preferably supported by a recognized language certificate.
• Certifications such as Iasa Certified IT Architect (CITA-A), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, TIBCO Certified Associate, Certified SOA Architect.

• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise integration platforms and solutions.
• Define and implement API-led and data integration strategies.
• Design enterprise-grade connectors, integration flows, service bus solutions, and middleware architectures.
• Plan capacity, scalability, resilience, and security aspects of integration platforms.
• Establish and promote integration standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to align technical solutions with organisational needs.
• Support hybrid integration scenarios across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Contribute to architecture governance, documentation, and technical roadmaps.
• Apply architecture frameworks, modelling standards, and interoperability principles.
