Ice Protection Methods and Tools Designer F/M

Airbus is launching a Commercial Aircraft Engineering Centre in Poland to leverage local talent and support its Engineering workload and competitiveness. The role is within the System Integration department, focusing on Wing and Nacelle Ice Protection Systems for Airbus commercial aircraft.

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical/System Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical design, System Integration, or modelling.
• Negotiation level English proficiency.
• Knowledge of aeronautics context and certification framework (CS-25, CS-E).
• Expertise in system engineering and mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermal, and thermodynamic engineering.
• Scientific computation and modeling skills.
• Soft skills: collaborative spirit, open-mindedness, customer focus, pro-activity, autonomy, dynamic, positive, curious, passionate, and creative.

• Participate in Ice Protection System design activities to support aircraft program evolutions and future technology maturation.
• Identify, perform, or support projects aimed at improving knowledge of icing conditions or methods to develop Ice Protection Systems.
• Control evolutions of existing methods and tools used on Ice Protection Systems, including managing tool evolution, integrating new tools, proposing improvements, and designing new methods for future aircraft challenges.
