Data Engineer (Senior/Mid)

Harvey Nash Technology is recruiting for a Data Engineer role based in Warsaw, Poland, working in a hybrid mode. The position involves working with big data technologies and Python development for a client project.

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Experience working with Spark or Scala.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in big data technologies.
• Ability to design creative and innovative technical solutions.
• Knowledge of graph databases is an advantage.

• Develop and maintain big data processing pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Build and enhance cloud-based infrastructure using distributed systems techniques.
• Collaborate with investment professionals, researchers, and data scientists to design and launch end-to-end data solutions.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and conducting POCs for emerging big data technologies.
• Create and support data visualization and exploration tooling for large structured and unstructured datasets.
