Senior/Staff Backend Engineer

iTeamly is building a new enterprise platform for advanced manufacturing operations that supports production workflows, data exchange, shopfloor processes, and integrations with internal and external business systems.

• 5+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems development
• Strong experience with Java or C# or Go
• Good understanding of microservices, API design and system architecture
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling and performance optimization
• Knowledge of concurrency, scalability and reliable system design
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with MES, ERP or manufacturing systems
• Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL or workflow automation
• Experience with system integrations, IoT or industrial environments

• Designing and developing backend services for a large scale manufacturing platform
• Building APIs, data models and integrations between internal systems, ERP, vendors and manufacturing partners
• Working on distributed systems, microservices and event driven workflows
• Translating business and technical requirements into reliable backend solutions
• Supporting system architecture, technical decisions and proof-of-concept development
• Improving scalability, performance, code quality and reliability of the platform
• Collaborating with engineering, product, operations and manufacturing teams
