Software Engineering Manager II, Chrome Agentics and Infrastructure

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in people management or team leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience with data, data processing, or data analysis.
• Experience in developer productivity.

• Define and drive the technical goal and roadmap, addressing ambiguous problems and ensuring technical excellence within the domain.
• Oversee execution of engineering projects, making key architectural and design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize efforts and remove roadblocks.
• Manage team staffing, performance management, career development, and mentorship.
• Influence designs and plans across multiple groups and build strong collaborations with partners and stakeholders.
