Head of Measurement Foundations, International

The measurement insights and data sciences (MID) hub is a global centralized team dedicated to advancing Google's key measurement products with quality and velocity. The measurement foundations team ensures customers have the appropriate measurement foundations and data to understand the full value of Google media, working across all Large Customer Sales (LCS) Tier 1/Tier 2 customers. This team leverages vendors, automation, and AI to standardize work and tackle critical measurement challenges for Google.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience in system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Experience with advertisement technology products and the online advertising industry.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
• 15 years managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
• 15 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
• 15 years in customer-facing roles.
• 15 years in operations management (process improvement, operational reviews, workflow optimization).
• 15 years working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.

• Guide a team of Technical Solution Consultants and managers delivering measurement readiness/foundations solutions in marketing measurement and portfolio management.
• Develop a measurement readiness or foundations roadmap aligned with business strategy and OKRs.
• Establish project goals, align expectations, coordinate resources, and provide technical leadership.
• Provide investigative thought leadership in measurement through proactive contributions.
• Influence stakeholders via presentations and written communication.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to enhance and optimize measurement team capabilities, fostering scale and innovation.
