Senior Java Developer

Hays IT Contracting operates on B2B principles, connecting top IT specialists with innovative technology projects. The project involves integration and development of Transport Management System (TMS) platforms, consolidating three existing TMS systems into one solution that supports the full transport management cycle from planning to delivery control. The system architecture allows for core development and integration of new functionalities, including modernization of legacy components up to 30 years old.

• Strong knowledge of Java (versions 17–21) and Spring Boot 3.x+
• Experience with Angular 16/17
• Good understanding of SDLC and software design principles
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and OOP
• Experience in unit and integration testing
• Availability during 09:00–17:30

Nice to have:

• Experience with C# / .NET 9
• Experience with SQL
• Ability to influence technical decisions
• Knowledge of Flutter / Dart

• Develop and maintain TMS systems (backend and integrations)
• Modernize and integrate existing solutions
• Participate in architecture design and technical direction
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
