Splunk Support Engineer – Financial Services Project

Belvedere Recruitment is hiring for an enterprise project in the financial services industry focused on supporting and developing Splunk/SIEM environments.

• Proven experience in the implementation, administration or development of Splunk environments.
• Experience supporting Splunk/SIEM platforms in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Ubuntu to Red Hat migration or similar Linux migration activities.
• Strong Unix/Linux operational experience.
• Advanced Unix knowledge.
• Experience connecting infrastructure components and applications to a SIEM system.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure security and security management systems.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management.
• Experience in consulting or implementation of Splunk-related projects.
• Ability to support customer-related activities, including expansion, review and strategic consulting in Splunk/SIEM environments.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Ubuntu, Python, Puppet, Ansible and Git.

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of German.
• Splunk Admin Certification.
• Unix Certification.

• Provide L2/L3 support for Splunk environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
• Administer and maintain Splunk infrastructure.
• Integrate infrastructure components and applications with SIEM solutions.
• Support migration activities, including Ubuntu to Red Hat transitions.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Puppet and Ansible.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management processes.
• Support customer-related projects, environment reviews and strategic consulting activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
