Cloud Engineer

Harvey Nash Technology is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for a client in Warsaw, working in a hybrid model with one day per week in the office. The role involves working with GCP and complex cloud and on-prem environments, including regulated industries such as pharma.

• Senior / Senior+ level experience
• Approximately 6+ years of experience with GCP (other clouds are a plus)
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience in complex environments (cloud + on-prem)
• Proficiency in Python and Linux / shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure automation
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., pharma) is a strong plus
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills in international environments
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Design, develop, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Plan and evolve the SMART GCP enterprise platform
• Collaborate with development teams, Cloud Architects, and stakeholders
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with architectural standards
• Integrate GCP environments with on-premise systems
• Contribute to and maintain architectural standards and documentation
• Support IAM integrations (e.g., IdentityNow)
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
• Operate within a compliance-driven, regulated environment
