Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, GenAI, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is leading the AI revolution for businesses worldwide, providing advanced AI technologies including frontier Gemini models and the Vertex AI platform. The role is embedded within customer environments to bridge frontier AI products and production-grade solutions, contributing to Google Cloud's future product roadmap.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience building and shipping production-grade AI-driven solutions using Python, Typescript, or comparable languages.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Experience designing and building AI systems on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data, including vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s Agent Development Kit.
• Knowledge of large language model native metrics and techniques for optimizing state management and tracing.

• Serve as the lead developer for AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code integration between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs and legacy data silos.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure accuracy, safety, and latency of agentic systems.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and technical friction points, converting them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Mentor talent, co-build with customer teams, and influence cross-functional strategies to enhance technical capabilities.
