Principal, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment

IQVIA is a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The role is within the DTAS (Data, Technology and Advisory Services) team, specifically in the HE/HTA/V&A practice, which focuses on health economics, health technology assessment, and value & access solutions to support pricing, reimbursement, and market access globally.

• Master’s Degree
• At least 10 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries focused on HTA or HEOR
• Experience with AI/ML is a plus
• Proven ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions for HE/HTA stakeholders
• Track record of driving HQ/global deals and offerings development
• Established network in pharmaceutical industry and payers
• High understanding of payer evaluation processes and factors impacting product development
• Deep commercial awareness of healthcare, health technology, and pharmaceutical industries
• Experience in market needs assessments and value proposition development
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to target audiences
• Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex and ambiguous information
• Commercial focus on profitability and competitiveness
• Ability to build supportive team relationships and focus on shared goals

• Act as principal owner of all client engagements from initial conversations to solution development and project delivery
• Create and elevate new business opportunities with existing and new clients
• Present educational and go-to-market materials internally and externally
• Identify opportunities for selling integrated solutions including P&MA strategy, HEOR/HTA support, PRO instrument advice, and RWE strategy
• Engage closely with project teams to design, develop, and deliver projects utilizing IQVIA capabilities
• Ensure delivery of accurate and high-quality work meeting or exceeding client expectations
• Foster collaboration and inclusivity among project teams
• Stay current on industry, client, and competitive trends to anticipate new business challenges
• Lead thought leadership and firm building initiatives such as speaking engagements and publications
• Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise to elevate team capabilities
• Lead ad hoc work streams on recruitment, training, and development
• Serve as a development lead to 3-4 staff
