Engineering Manager, AI and Compute, Sole Tenancy

Sole Tenancy is a high-growth powerhouse serving as the strategic entry point for Google Compute Engine's customers. The AI and Infrastructure team delivers AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability, and velocity, supporting Google customers including Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide. The team works on hyperscale computing innovations including TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, Data Center operations, and systems research.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 5 years in a technical leadership role overseeing projects.
• 3 years in people management, supervision, or team leadership.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding engineering talent.
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Shape the product goal and technical roadmap for Sole Tenancy.
• Guide a talented engineering team in Warsaw through high-stakes transitions.
• Foster a high-performance culture balancing feature velocity with reliability.
• Partner with Product, Sales, and SRE teams to bridge hyperscale infrastructure and customer business value.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Provide technical and career mentorship to engineers.
