Senior Java Developer | Branża bankowa

The client is one of the three largest universal Polish banks and a major financial institution in Central and Eastern Europe, known for pioneering the first ATM and credit card in Poland.

• Higher education in computer science, mathematics, or related fields
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, WildFly/JBoss EAP
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including data structure design, query optimization, and transaction management
• Experience integrating systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSD
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and distributed applications
• Familiarity with design and architectural patterns
• Experience in code review and code refactoring
• Knowledge of source code management tools (Git, Gerrit or similar)
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Experience in the banking sector
• English language proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience designing new solutions using Enterprise Architect/UML
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Experience in creating and implementing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems
• Experience with the Doxis4 platform in enterprise content management

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications
• Creating and developing REST APIs and integrations between microservices
• Collaborating with the team on solution design, code reviews, and resolving technical issues
• Managing source code using Git and participating in the software development process
• Supporting build and deployment processes using Maven and Docker
• Ensuring quality, performance, and reliability of developed solutions
• Collaborating with business analysts, IT architects, and business clients
• Providing technical support to less experienced developers
