Google's CoreOS team is responsible for the kernel and operating system that runs on all of Google's production machines. The team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products, focusing on underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. They impact important technical decisions across the company and drive innovation for every developer.
Wymagania
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management, process improvement, and agile methodologies.
- 8 years of experience leading projects through the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: 10 years of program management experience focused on Operating Systems, software development, and delivery.
- Experience in Linux Kernel development.
- Experience with information security incidents and threat assessments, including incident response, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- Experience in security assessments, vulnerability management, and security research.
- Knowledge of encrypt/decrypt algorithms or security software stack design.
- Understanding of operating systems internals, including kernel security and memory protection mechanisms.
Obowiązki
- Partner with engineering leads and product management in CoreOS to develop strategic roadmaps and execution plans for NodeOS and Kernel security.
- Lead cross-functional program teams to scope, plan, and execute software programs improving Kernel and OS scalability and security.
- Drive operational processes and provide program management leadership to monitor, prioritize, and resolve production issues, including kernel security vulnerabilities.
- Track progress of execution plans and communicate progress and blockers to leadership and stakeholders continuously.
- Represent programs and engineering teams in execution and program review forums.
Benefity
- Salary range: 440,000 - 451,000 PLN annually.
- 20% bonus target.
