Deep Learning Engineer/Machine Learning Engineer

Vasco Electronics is a company located in Kraków, specializing in research and development in artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for mobile devices running Android.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience with inference frameworks for mobile devices, such as TensorFlow Lite (LiteRT) or ONNX Runtime
• Experience working with Transformer models and natural language processing (NLP) techniques
• Practical knowledge of model optimization for resource-constrained devices
• Ability to solve problems independently and willingness to explore new, innovative solutions

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Android system architecture
• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin

• Independently create and optimize neural network models, especially in natural language processing such as Machine Translation and NLU, tailored for mobile devices
• Design and implement model compression algorithms, quantization, and acceleration techniques to ensure efficient operation on low-power processors and limited memory environments
• Integrate AI models with mobile applications using inference frameworks like TensorFlow Lite (LiteRT), ONNX Runtime, or similar
• Conduct research and experiments to find innovative methods and architectures meeting high performance requirements with minimal resource consumption
• Collaborate closely with mobile development teams to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance
• Test and validate developed solutions under real device operating conditions
• Document research and deployment processes
