Senior Network Security Consultant – Cybersecurity Specialization

Leading international IT company specializing in Cybersecurity and Network Security, based in Krakow with a hybrid work model.

• At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering or consultancy, preferably in regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of network design, firewall, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, content filtering, DDoS mitigation, load balancing, network segmentation, and NAC technologies.
• Proven experience with security threat analysis and risk management.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Customer-focused mindset with a drive for service excellence.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCNA, CCIE.
• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or alternative languages.
• Knowledge of cloud computing security concepts.
• Experience with security operations tools such as SIEMs and incident response processes.

• Provide expert advisory and project delivery on network security controls, designs, and architecture.
• Collaborate with teams to assess vulnerabilities and implement security solutions.
• Analyze network and security data to support decision-making and verify controls.
• Support continuous improvement of network security posture by monitoring emerging threats.
• Lead identification of security gaps, escalate risks, and develop remediation plans.
• Maintain compliance with operational risk, cybersecurity standards, and internal policies.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to communicate security best practices.
• Contribute to knowledge development within the cybersecurity community.
