Senior Power BI Platform SME – Governance & Operations

The role is within the CTO Power Platform Team at ITDS, managing the Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Power BI platforms to enable secure, scalable, and well-governed digital capabilities across the organisation. The position is based in Krakow with a hybrid work model (3 days remote per week).

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong programming and scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or similar tools for automation and platform management.
• Knowledge of security and governance controls, access models, and compliance in enterprise environments.
• Experience in architecture and design, including documentation and applying engineering judgment.
• Experience with monitoring, telemetry, and alerting to improve platform resilience.
• Reporting and data visualization experience, including building operational and governance dashboards.
• Knowledge of DevOps and release practices, including deployment pipelines and environment management.
• Fluent English with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting or implementing self-service and automation to improve platform management and user experience.
• Experience working closely with cybersecurity teams on security recommendations and reviews.

• Administer and continuously improve the Power BI platform to meet security, architecture, and governance requirements.
• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards for management, governance, and operational monitoring.
• Configure and manage capacities, workspaces, and deployment pipelines for diverse Power BI use cases.
• Implement and maintain telemetry, monitoring, and alerting to enhance platform resilience and performance.
• Produce architecture and design documentation and collaborate with cybersecurity teams on security recommendations.
• Enable and support Power BI Copilot and AI capabilities aligned with governance and business readiness.
• Provide technical guidance, design consultation, and issue resolution to ensure compliant platform use.
• Contribute to shaping and driving the Power BI strategy supporting data, reporting, and self-service vision.
