Test Automation Engineer

Jit Team has a long-standing relationship with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, serving as their premier partner in Poland. Over 200 Jit personnel work on more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider with a global presence and a focus on modern technology. The client emphasizes a Scandinavian culture promoting work-life balance and feedback, with projects executed in international teams using English daily.

• Strong Java coding skills (preferably Java 21) for test automation
• Proven hands-on experience with Cucumber and BDD practices
• Solid understanding of API testing, Kafka, and database validation
• Expertise in test strategy, defect analysis, and testing complex distributed systems
• Experience working in Agile environments with close developer collaboration
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

Nice to have:

• Basic Docker skills for execution in containerized environments
• Understanding of Sonar for code quality insights
• Familiarity with Liquibase for DB change control

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks based on BDD (Cucumber)
• Drive and advocate quality standards across all stages of the delivery lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with developers and Product Owner to ensure shared understanding of requirements and early defect detection
• Define and contribute to test strategies aligned with CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium/WebDriver
• Create and review Gherkin feature files ensuring clarity and business alignment
• Perform negative, exploratory, and regression testing
• Test REST APIs, Kafka event streams, and database persistence (JPA)
• Analyze logs using tools like Splunk and provide actionable insights to the team

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
