Graphics Driver SW Designer

Hays IT Contracting operates on B2B principles, connecting IT specialists with innovative technology projects. The client is a high-tech semiconductor company specializing in integrated circuits, graphics, and data processing.

• Very good knowledge of C programming (low-level)
• Practical knowledge of Vulkan, OpenGL, and modern 3D graphics
• Experience in designing and developing GPU drivers
• Knowledge of computer architecture (CPU, cache, MMU, memory)
• Good knowledge of operating systems, especially Linux
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Teamwork orientation

Nice to have:

• Experience working according to C coding guidelines
• Experience working in Scrum
• Knowledge of vector mathematics

• Design and develop OpenGL/Vulkan graphics drivers for current and next-generation GPUs
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing)
• Collaborate with hardware teams to support and optimize Vulkan functionality
• Support clients and partners in product market deployment
• Collaborate with industry partners to define Vulkan API
• Analyze performance and optimize drivers
