Kotlin Developer

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for building and operating an internal platform used by pre-sales teams worldwide. The platform enables scalable, configurable, and high-quality demonstration environments supporting customer engagements across multiple regions.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Kotlin or Java
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience building and operating production-grade systems
• Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and SOLID
• Experience working in distributed teams
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms
• Experience with cloud environments
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Linux environment administration and command-line tools
• Microservices architecture
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and JVM technologies
• Build and evolve REST APIs and distributed service integrations
• Develop modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Improve CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployment solutions
• Work with Infrastructure as Code tools to manage environments efficiently
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering and business teams
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Support internal users by understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team growth

Candidates should be comfortable participating in selected meetings scheduled in the late afternoon or early evening (Poland time) to align with international teams.
