Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Experience managing and troubleshooting GNU/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
• Basic networking skills.
• Basic programming skills, preferably Bash or Python.
• Basic knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, or similar cloud platforms.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD processes using GitLab.

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for microservices applications.
• Manage infrastructure-related topics including technology selection, architecture design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Support development teams working on cloud-based applications for the hospitality industry.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation tools.
• Automate internal DevOps workflows.
• Use Kanban and Jira for task and teamwork management.
• Use GitLab for code repository and CI automation.
• Build environments with Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Develop deployment solutions for Kubernetes.
• Support local environments with Docker/docker-compose.
• Create libraries, tools, and AWS Lambdas in Python.
• Create Docker images for automation and internal use.
• Follow "Everything as Code" philosophy.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and retrospective meetings.
• Use MS Teams for knowledge sharing and meetings.

Candidates must be based in the Silesia region (office in Katowice). Fully remote work is not an option. Applications from more distant locations will not be considered.
