System-Level Modeling Engineer with SystemC and SoC experience (f/m/x)

As part of a collaboration with a global leader in technology and digital innovation, this role involves contributing to advanced research and development initiatives in embedded software and system modeling. The company develops cutting-edge solutions in cloud services, cybersecurity, and software and hardware platforms used worldwide.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development
• Strong proficiency in C or C++ with hands-on experience in SystemC
• Solid understanding of operating systems including drivers, memory management, bootloaders, and scheduling
• Excellent debugging skills (GDB or equivalent)
• Ability to translate goals into requirements, architectures, APIs, and delivery plans
• Practical experience with SystemC simulators (e.g., Virtualizer, Helium) and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience with shipped products containing firmware or embedded software, preferably in pre-silicon environments
• Knowledge in domains such as drivers, DMA, PCIe, NVMe, image/video decoders, networking controllers, memory controllers/training, boot flows, or power management
• Communicative proficiency in English
• Residing in Poland required

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware/software for silicon components such as boot ROMs, PCIe, USB, and compute clusters
• Lead technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specifications and ensure system-level integration
• Mentor junior engineers in software design, firmware development, and engineering best practices
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions
• Drive debugging and optimization efforts to improve performance and reliability
• Provide clear technical documentation for models, APIs, and workflows
• Work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team and contribute to a collaborative environment
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges to stakeholders and management
