Senior Java Backend Developer – Financial Technology

Our client is a leading player in the financial services industry dedicated to delivering cutting-edge transactional and banking systems.

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot 3 and Java 21+.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database technologies.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and OpenShift deployment.
• Familiarity with message brokers RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools including ELK stack and Dynatrace.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks: JUnit 5, Mockito, RestAssured.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working within agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to have:

• Experience in the finance sector and knowledge of financial risk modeling.
• Certifications related to cloud, database management, or software development.
• Basic knowledge of R language and SQL testing.

• Design, develop, and optimize complex backend systems using Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.
• Implement scalable and maintainable software solutions using domain-driven design (DDD).
• Manage and optimize data solutions with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Utilize ELK stack, Dynatrace, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, OpenShift) to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Conduct testing and validation using JUnit 5, Mockito, and RestAssured.
• Collaborate with agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) for iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Provide analytical insights and problem-solving support for transaction systems in a fast-paced financial environment.
