Senior Java Microservices Developer – AI-Enabled Financial Platform

This role is for a client in the financial services industry focused on delivering collateral and facility management solutions through AI-enabled financial platforms.

• 4+ years experience building Java microservices (Spring Boot) in enterprise environments.
• Expertise with RDBMS (Oracle/PostgreSQL), schema design, performance tuning, and transactional integrity.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, API/contract testing).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning).
• Good understanding of REST, messaging/eventing, API design, and versioning strategies.
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud platform.
• Practical knowledge of GenAI concepts, LLMs, RAG/agent patterns, and governance.
• Ability to design pragmatic solutions under delivery pressure.

Nice to have:

• Experience with regulated financial services platforms and audit/control requirements.
• Exposure to cloud-native patterns (containers, Kubernetes, service mesh) and observability tooling.
• Background in performance engineering and resilience testing.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled SDLC practices for productivity.

• Build, test, release, and support Java microservices (Spring Boot) ensuring security, performance, and resilience.
• Contribute to solution design for microservices and integration patterns aligned with architecture and requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers collaboratively.
• Follow and enhance engineering standards including CI/CD, testing strategies, and security protocols.
• Participate in design, code, and security reviews and remediate findings.
• Use AI-assisted tooling responsibly to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.
• Apply GenAI techniques (LLMs, RAG, agent workflows) adhering to governance and controls.
• Embed security-by-design principles, vulnerability management, and compliance in development.
• Support deployment activities, environment readiness, and release cycles.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, SRE, and system owners.
• Foster continuous improvement, inclusive collaboration, and shared accountability.
