Senior Production Support Engineer – Banking Payments and Billing

The role is with a leading entity in the banking and payments industry, focusing on billing and payments services across the EU and UK markets.

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support within banking or financial services.
• Strong DevOps background with experience managing configuration and pipelines.
• Proficiency with MS SQL, Oracle DB, Linux, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with complex technology architecture and middleware layers.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities analytically in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with payment domain standards (ISO2022).
• Java development experience.
• Certifications in DevOps tools or cloud technologies.

• Support, maintain, and manage distributed systems including Linux and Windows servers, Microsoft IIS, Hazelcast, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and support DevOps pipelines and manage CI/CD processes using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, and G3.
• Organize and coordinate change activities to minimize service impact.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform data analysis to optimize performance.
• Manage applications, business processes, and data intelligence within Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with global teams using Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
• Implement and support operational procedures to ensure service continuity and security.
• Demonstrate Java development skills and familiarity with banking payment standards (ISO2022), XML, XSD, and JSON (nice to have).
