Senior Business & Systems Analyst (Financial Markets)

This role is for a client in the financial sector focused on developing a deposit module within a financial platform. The position involves working at the business/IT interface to translate complex market realities into reliable deposit capabilities.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong skills in BPMN and end-to-end process modeling.
• Experience with financial instruments such as FX Options, IRS, CAP/FLOOR.
• Knowledge of deposit processes and transaction lifecycle fundamentals.
• Foundation in valuation basics like interest rates and curves.
• Ability to perform system analysis and create well-structured specifications.
• Proficiency with SQL and business data.
• Working knowledge of UAT/testing fundamentals.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Markets/Treasury.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with relevant legal regulations.

• Analyze and document business and system requirements for the deposit module.
• Model and maintain end-to-end processes using BPMN, including as-is/to-be views.
• Develop structured system and business specifications for engineering handover.
• Design solutions and support integrations across front-to-back workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to refine requirements.
• Support test planning and execution, including UAT.
• Write and maintain user stories with Acceptance Criteria and documentation.
• Perform data analysis using SQL to support decision-making and verification.
