Senior Data & Reporting Developer – SQL & Cloud Expertise

Our client is a leading financial institution focused on innovative data solutions, based in Krakow, offering a hybrid work model with up to 3 remote days per week.

• 3+ years of experience in data roles including SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, and data management.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL programming and relational database systems.
• Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
• Strong business English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with ability to deliver results independently.
• Certifications or experience related to cloud technologies or data architecture are a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and DataStudio, and knowledge of ETL and data warehousing principles.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Legal right to work in the European Union is required.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data projects, including developing KPIs and data models aligned with business requirements.
• Perform data discovery, cleaning, transformation, and validation.
• Match, link, and integrate datasets across multiple sources.
• Ensure secure and efficient data movement within cloud environments.
• Develop and deliver complex reports and dashboards using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio) and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and drive internal process improvements within data workflows.
• Document processes with clear roadmaps and descriptions.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and facilitate team discussions for timely delivery.
