Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer – Equity Derivatives

Our client is a leader in systematic trading strategies within the financial industry, focusing on building critical trading infrastructure across derivatives, FX, commodities, rates, and single stocks.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React JS and JavaScript, with solid understanding of modern frontend practices.
• Sound understanding of design patterns and best programming practices.
• Experience with unit testing, including Jest.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., GitLab).
• Competence with modern styling approaches (JavaScript-based CSS approaches and/or SCSS).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ag-Grid library.
• Good UX principles and practices.
• Certifications or additional training in frontend technologies.

• Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable user interfaces using React JS (Hooks / Context API).
• Implement modern CSS techniques, including CSS-in-JS and/or SCSS, to enhance usability and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless frontend solutions for trading workflows.
• Write robust unit tests using Jest and support code quality standards.
• Contribute to modern frontend workflows, including npm and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Support backend integration using Java or Python (exposure welcome).
• Participate actively in UI design discussions to align frontend implementation with UX principles.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring low-latency and high-volume trading efficiency.
