Senior Controls & Policy Review Analyst – STDF IRR Programme

• 5+ years of experience in controls processes and PRA policy background.
• Experience in regulatory reporting controls and compliance within a financial institution.
• Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to document complex processes clearly and accurately.
• Experience working with senior business managers and diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and propose practical remediation actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align on approaches amid competing priorities.

Nice to have:

• Experience facilitating workshops and training new team members on project artefacts and standards.
• Experience working across multiple regulatory submissions and exercises involving EUCs, models, and calculations.

• Become familiar with the Risk Management Framework (Risk Taxonomy and Control Library) to ensure control assessments follow relevant policies and procedures.
• Probe end-to-end reporting processes to identify risks and determine required controls across multiple risk points.
• Determine control gaps and assess completeness of controls and processes across the stress testing population for each exercise.
• Assess control designs and operational effectiveness, performing root cause analysis when issues are identified.
• Work with report owners in the Business to enhance controls to the required standard and bring reporting templates to full compliance.
• Document control processes in relevant systems of record and formalise Business Process Controls, Business Automated Controls, EUCs, Models, and Calculations.
• Track controls and compliance items through to resolution by collaborating with other workstreams and core process owners.
• Deliver workshops, produce and present walkthrough materials to business stakeholders, and provide progress reporting to measure and monitor work.
