Senior Test Automation Engineer – QA Automation & CI/CD

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/Test Automation engineering with strong hands-on delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with UI automation using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Experience with API automation using RestAssured and Postman/Newman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Ability to design test cases and work with test management tools (e.g., Jira with Xray/Zephyr).
• Good command of Git.
• Solid understanding of testing techniques and ISTQB Foundation principles (certification is a plus).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of additional programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with performance testing.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and test environment containerization.
• Knowledge of cloud testing (Azure/AWS/GCP) or experience with shift-left testing/BDD.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, regression, and integration.
• Build and continuously improve automation frameworks using best practices to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test stability and reliability over time.
• Analyze automated test results, investigate failures, and report defects with clear evidence.
• Create and execute functional and exploratory manual tests when automation is not feasible or justified.
• Validate delivered changes each sprint by supporting end-to-end testing and UAT/ad hoc scenarios.
• Collaborate with the Scrum team in daily ceremonies and sprint planning to plan QA/test activities.
• Co-define QA input to the Definition of Done and Definition of Ready, and actively identify quality risks with mitigation ideas.
