Senior SAP IS-U Lead Consultant – Utilities Billing & Customer Service

The role is for a client in the Energy & Utilities sector, focused on energy and gas markets within Poland’s deregulated landscape.

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U experience with proven delivery in Billing & FICA.
• Deep knowledge of billing, invoicing, tariff configuration, and utilities process impacts.
• Solid experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
• ABAP skills sufficient for code reading, debugging, and simple enhancements.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain, especially within energy or gas sectors, and familiarity with Poland’s deregulated market.
• Experience working in agile environments; SCRUM knowledge is a plus.
• Very good communication skills in Polish; good command of English for documentation and international cooperation.

Strong plus:

• Experience with CRM, IDEX, and SAP SD integrations.
• A track record of digital transformation projects within utilities.
• Prior leadership experience, such as mentoring or setting quality standards.

• Lead the SAP IS-U stream end-to-end, overseeing Billing/FICA, Customer Service, and Sales & Distribution processes and integrations.
• Elicit, structure, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into robust SAP solutions.
• Design and supervise configuration and implementation within IS-U Billing / FICA modules (billing settlement, invoicing, tariff management).
• Produce and review functional and technical documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Collaborate with architects, ABAP developers, consultants, and key users to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Monitor and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and system stability.
• Coordinate work with external SAP IS-U solution providers, including international partners.
• Support market-specific projects and utilities initiatives, including deregulation topics such as CSIRE and month-end SD activities.
