Senior Java/React Full Stack Developer – Financial Services

This role is for an industry-leading client in the financial services sector, focusing on developing full stack solutions to enhance financial operations and workflows.

• 7+ years of full stack software development experience with a focus on Java and modern frontend frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, including state management and responsive UI design.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, complex queries, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps), and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with REST API design, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or Playwright.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical leadership in a hybrid team.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services, private equity, or fund administration.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar fund accounting platforms.
• Cloud-native development experience with Azure.
• Exposure to agentic workflow frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot for transaction processing, reporting, and secure APIs.
• Build responsive user interfaces with TypeScript and React tailored for finance and operations teams.
• Utilize agentic AI development tools to accelerate feature delivery, reviewing AI-generated code for quality and security.
• Optimize and maintain SQL Server databases including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers, consultants, vendors, and AI tools.
• Enforce coding standards, best practices, and maintain technical documentation.
• Integrate solutions with existing financial platforms such as Sage Intacct.
• Develop scalable, high-performance cloud applications and improve them based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
