Test Automation Engineer – Java/C# & Selenium

The role is for a client who is a leading financial institution delivering innovative digital banking solutions to millions of customers. The project focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web applications and integrated banking systems.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation using Java or C#
• Hands-on experience with Selenium
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test cases
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to execute basic database queries
• Experience in analyzing business and technical requirements
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing needs
• Design test scenarios and test cases with a focus on automation
• Develop automated tests using available testing tools and frameworks
• Automate regression testing processes to improve release quality
• Verify data flows and integrations between multiple systems
• Simulate business and technical events to validate application behavior
• Manage and prepare test data for automated test execution
• Detect defects early and support issue resolution activities
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
• Refactor automated tests to improve stability and maintainability
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor test quality and test execution results
• Report testing outcomes and identified defects
• Analyze root causes of issues and testing failures
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
