Mid-Level Java Microservices Developer – AI-Enabled Financial Platform

Our client is a leader in delivering advanced collateral and facility management capabilities within the financial sector, focusing on AI-enabled financial technology solutions.

• 4–8 years of experience developing Java microservices in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise with relational databases including schema design and performance optimization
• Solid experience with unit and integration testing
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and quality gates
• Good understanding of API design, integration patterns, and versioning
• Hands-on cloud experience, particularly with GCP
• Practical exposure to GenAI concepts, tools, LLMs, and RAG/agent patterns
• Ability to contribute to technical design decisions and manage trade-offs under deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience with regulated financial platforms and audit controls
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and observability tools
• Experience in performance engineering and resilience testing
• Background in AI-enabled SDLC practices with governance
• Hands-on experience prototyping or integrating GenAI functionalities

• Build, test, release, and support Java microservices ensuring design, security, and operational resilience
• Contribute to solution design aligned with architecture and AI integration
• Identify and resolve technical risks and delivery blockers collaboratively
• Follow and promote engineering standards including coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies
• Develop unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in technical reviews providing feedback and remediation plans
• Apply AI-assisted tooling responsibly to enhance development efficiency
• Embed security-by-design principles including secure coding and vulnerability management
• Build production-ready services with observability, performance testing, and incident readiness
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, architects, QA, platform teams, and system owners for integration and deployment
