Senior Solution Architect – Open Source Technologies

This role is for a client leading technological transformation, focusing on designing and leading development of enterprise solutions leveraging open source software.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solutions architecture or related fields.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing open source technology stacks.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux and open source application components.
• Strong scripting, automation, and configuration management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholder decisions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contributions to open source projects.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security tools.

• Design end-to-end solutions utilizing open source technologies such as Linux, Apache, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and more.
• Lead architectural decisions for new initiatives and modernization projects.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate open source components and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Create architecture diagrams, comprehensive documentation, and strategic technical roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Engage with open source communities and stay current with emerging trends and innovations.
• Ensure solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
