Senior Cloud Security and Developer Platform Engineer

Our client is a leading financial services organization focused on innovation and security.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Strong command of English (fluent) in both written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot, or strong motivation to learn Java if experienced in other languages.
• Knowledge of functional programming, asynchronous and reactive approaches.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and designing scalable cloud workloads.
• Familiarity with security practices, secure engineering, and security-focused tooling.
• Solid understanding of testing methods and the ability to select appropriate techniques.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of API security, performance testing, and secure API design.
• Experience with performance testing and analysis.
• Additional certifications in cloud or security domains.

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Java and modern frameworks.
• Review and ensure alignment of solutions with platform standards and security best practices.
• Champion high standards in code quality, security, and maintainability across projects.
• Implement comprehensive automated testing including unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Collaborate openly with team members to solve technical challenges and improve workflows.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance developer experience and efficiency.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to less experienced colleagues.
